One afternoon our family went to a local field where you can pay to pick your own blueberries. It was something different and unique to do. However, it was not something I would want to do for a living!
Before we headed out to the field we looked up all the places that allow you to do this and did some research as to which was the best place to pick blueberries.
This meant we had to drive for about 30 minutes to get to the correct field. That seemed excessive since there was a fruit field two blocks from my house! We actually drove by one field after another to get to the place we could go and pick blueberries.
What if we hadn’t looked it up and just decided to go to any field and pick what they had? We would have ended up with strawberries or any number of other kinds of fruit.
Every day I listen to people who want certain fruit in their lives: wealth, relationships, health, happiness, peace, love and a dozen others. The problem is they are just going to any field (those whose presence they keep) that they happen to come across.
Since you say you want better fruit in your life, then you must choose wisely who you will hang around and spend time with.
The fruit of your life is a result of the presence you keep!
If YOU do not like the fruit you are producing, then change the field from which you are picking!
When I got tired of what kind of fruit my life was producing, I did some research and sought out different fields/people.
You cannot complain about the fruit you have because YOU picked it!
What type of fruit do you want your life to produce? Define it and go find the people who are producing it and practice their presence!
