Navy Seals have a saying “Embrace the Suck” that translates to get comfortable being uncomfortable! Life, business, relationships, your health, and finances will at times be hard and uncomfortable.

Success will never be found inside your comfort zone. The size of your comfort zone is decided by your tolerance to being uncomfortable.

Special Forces Units are put through the most demanding physical and mental situations that you can possibly imagine. They are always creating the worst case scenario possible and force these trainees outside their comfort zones.

Embrace it

What is happening in your life that “Sucks”? Make a decision right now to Embrace the Suck to overcome it!

Seals have a bell you can ring at any time, during their training, which allows you to quit. The key in your life is not to Ring the Bell!

The hardships you are facing will not just go away. Learn to embrace them and get the job done.

Comfortable is for people who Ring the Bell. You are not one of those people!

There was a six month period of my life that I would Ring the Bell every day!  I decided to quit on myself, my family, and goals because I was tired of being uncomfortable.

We had just lost everything in a massive business failure, and I was so depressed and beaten by it that I crawled into the fetal position and gave up.

A Friend and mentor kicked me in the teeth six months later by calling me an idiot! That got my attention and forced me to Embrace the Suck that I created.

The next year was the best and most rewarding year of my life. The debt from our failure was still there along with all the stigma and challenges this creates but I had decided to stop Ringing the Bell!

The hardships of life are NOT going away, but if you Embrace them you will overcome them!
