Moses dispatched twelve Spies who were to scout out the Land of Canaan (The Promised Land) as a future home for the Israelite people.
When the twelve spies returned, ten of them reported that the land was full of Giants, Fortified Strongholds and that we looked like Grasshoppers to them!
Joshua & Caleb were the only ones who reported a different story. They said the Land was overflowing with all that they could ever need and that they could defeat the giants.
The people believed the report of the ten and turned their backs on their Destiny and Birth Right! This lack of faith caused the nation to wander for the next 40 years.
Every person who ever lived has a Destiny that they Must pursue and Every Destiny will have Giants occupying them.
Whose Report will you Believe?
Most of us will believe the one screaming in our heads that says you are NOT enough to overcome the challenges that lay between you and your Birth Right? Your mind continues to say things like: I’m too small, weak, old, uneducated, or have the wrong color skin.
A few will be like Joshua & Caleb. They will see the Giants, just like everyone else does, BUT they will Believe in their Destiny. These people will say we are more than enough to take the land promised to us.
Think about the opportunities that have been presented to you. How many times have you talked yourself out of them because you saw the Giant Obstacles waiting for you?
Opportunities come at us every day: Living Healthy lives, having strong relationships, getting promoted, living debt free, and many others. Each of these things is part of YOUR Destiny, and each have Giants that we Must face.
The story Of Joshua & Caleb also shows the ripples of the decisions we make out of Fear. The nation of Israel wandered for 40 years because 10 people believed the report of Fear!
