Want to be Happy…Stop seeking Pleasure!
When most of us are seeking to be happy, we are actually seeking pleasure!
We want to be Popular, Lose weight, get promoted, have more vacations, and buy the big house or new car, and so on.
These are ALL about us and ALL about Pleasure.
They will create a false sense of Happiness, but that will fade quickly.
Once the feeling of Pleasure diminishes, we focus on the next big fix just like any drug addict will do.
Happiness and Pleasure are NOT the same.

Seek Correction not Coddling
I hate to be Corrected, BUT it’s what I need the most!
Society today is set up in such a way that we want to be Coddled, not Corrected.
Public schools no longer receive graded assignments until they are nearly ten years old!
Instead of a grade, they receive words like “Extraordinary” or “Satisfactory.”
When I was growing up, teachers had the freedom to tell us the truth about our behavior and effort.
Teachers can no longer Correct our youth. Today they specialize in Coddling.
This approach now extends into adulthood and the Business world.
