We owned two cars while we lived in Germany for five
years. One was a little Toyota that we beat the heck out of, and the other was
a brand new SAAB that we took great care of.
The Toyota rarely got a car wash, but every weekend we
would hand wash and wax the SAAB.
We drove the Toyota into the ground. Rarely did we change
