During the last year of serving in the Military, we started an in home business because we wanted to be entrepreneurs. My CPA was adamant on the phone with me about NOT buying the restaurant. I had called him to seek his advice about my next business venture but he did not tell me what I wanted to hear so after a few minutes of listening to him explain why it was doomed to fail I told him I knew what I was doing and hung up! I walked into the lobby of the Hotel looking for the man who was to become my new boss. An outside sales company had hired me right after getting out of the Air Force, and I was instructed to meet Joe in the lobby – He would be the older gentleman in a suit.
